Who we are
The Blue Ridge Live Steamers are a casual group of ride-on train enthusiasts who enjoy operating trains on 5 acres of beautiful land in Franklin County, Virginia. The club has been active for 45 years, first meeting at nearby Roanoke’s Transportation Museum and, since 1987, at the current location. Come join us for friendly fellowship and fun while running trains and working on track!

Associate members are encouraged to ‘be a part of the group.’ Run other people’s trains with permission and help according to your strengths with BRLS operations, from riding people to track work, grass cutting to website maintenance.
